Service Team

                                               

 

Service Team meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at
St. Peter's Church in Fellowship Hall  7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Service Unit Co-Managers - Joan D.   Supports Service Unit Team and Leaders. Facilitates Service Team meetings and Leaders' meetings. Available to all service unit members for questions, concerns and/or comments.

Treasurer - Wanda R. 
Oversees service unit funds. Guides troop leaders in proper financial management of troop funds. Available to all SU members for financial questions. Carole must be a signer on all troop accounts.

Recruiter - Suzanne E. 
Recruits and places girls and adult volunteers. Organizes and maintains troops/groups. Also gives ongoing support to volunteers who work with girls. Places interested girls in troops.

Registrar - Lisa Thompson
Manages registrations of all service unit members. Coordinates annual registrations in spring and fall. Available for membership questions and/or concerns.

Events Coordinator- Jeanette Haugen

Provides resources that will support leaders, promote retention & assure quality programming.

Supports troop leaders within the school. Available for questions on program, troop management, parent or girl concerns, forms, etc.

Liaison between Service Unit and Council. Helps ensure service unit is running smoothly. Available for questions, comments and/or concerns.

 

Committee Chairs

 
Annual Giving Coordinator - Dawn F. 
Educates parents/guardians about Girl scouting, council services and the need for financial support. Coordinates the annual giving campaign event within the service unit.

Diamond Patch Consultant – Jeanette Haugen

Evaluates Diamond Patch forms to check that all criteria have been met for the council patch program.

Cookies - Cindy M. & Deb F.
Oversees the service unit cookie sales event. Ensures all participants are trained and informed of the procedures.

Day Camp - Cindy D.& Sherri E.
Coordinates and directs programs and volunteers for a fabulous week of camp!

Fall Encampment - Teri R.
Coordinates programs for a weekend at camp for the entire service unit. Encampment is every 2-3 years.

Northern Lights District Chair - Wanda R. 
Guides delegates/alternates. Attends annual GSCSCV meeting to provide input during roundtable discussions then reports back to the service unit.

Northern Lights District Delegates/Alternates-
Delegates serve as communication and voting links between the members of the district and the board of directors. Delegates represent Northern Lights at the annual GSCSCV meeting.

Public Relations - Wanda R. 
Promotes visibility for Girl Scouts through media and community relations activities.

Sends cards of joy or sympathy to those within our service unit. Please notify her when you think some sunshine is needed!
